How many items can I list on the Marketplace?

You can list as many items as you want on the Zenland Marketplace. There are no limits to the number of items you can list, allowing you to showcase your products or services without any restrictions.

Whether you have one item or hundreds, you can easily create listings and reach potential buyers on the platform. This flexibility enables you to expand your offerings and grow your business without constraints.

What can I sell on the Web3 Marketplace?

Anything from freelance services to in-game assets to NFTs and ebooks. It is a regular online marketplace where online users can trade P2P, C2C, and B2C under blockchain protection.

This is done through smart contracts that serve as escrow accounts that safeguard funds on the blockchain until both parties fulfill their agreement and finalize the transaction.

That said, because the tracking is not provided for physical goods the web3 marketplace is better suited for digital products and services. It is also possible to sell crypto collectibles, NFTs, and exclusive digital artwork.

Generally, we place no limits on what you can sell on Zenland Marketplace. Yet, we ask all users to adhere to basic safety rules and exercise caution when engaging in transactions, particularly when dealing with physical goods or high-value items.

Who can use Zenland Marketplace?

Anyone and everyone who has a Web3 wallet address and is willing to try the new marketplace.

That said, knowing what smart contracts are and how they are stored on the blockchain may help in understanding the escrow on the blockchain process.

Our web3 marketplace is built with web3 principles of verifiable trust and transparency. Any sales or purchases go through the escrow contracts stored on the blockchain. This records the transaction of any value at every step so that both sides can see and easily verify the process.

Once each part of the smart contract is fulfilled, the contract is executed and the funds are released directly to the seller’s web3 wallet address. No payout thresholds or withdrawal fees. On the buyer’s side, Zenland marketplace allows secure transactions without trusted third parties by simply locking funds in the blockchain (inside a smart contract) until the seller delivers the promised items.

Both parties can activate and manage an escrow smart contract from anywhere in the world with just an internet connection and no coding skills.

How is the Web3 Marketplace moderated?

Zenland web3 marketplace is autonomous, yet the new items are automatically screened by the system upon publication. Suspicious items can also be screened by the staff for users’ safety.

If human moderation is required, the item can be suspended for up to 48 hours or less.

During the automatic screening process, the items are mapped to the account publishing it so that it can later be traced back to the original publisher.

It is an immediate process that does not require human involvement. If marked as suspicious, the item is tracked indefinitely to prove or disprove the reputation of the person offering it.

If multiple items are matched to the suspicious publisher the users’ reputation will reflect the negative trust based on feedback score received.

Is Zenland Web3 Marketplace free?

Yes, the marketplace itself is free with zero commissions for listing your services/products. Also at the moment, buyers and sellers are given $25 in free credits to run their first sales and purchases at zero service fees.

Also, unlike traditional platforms for buying or selling P2P services, Zenland Marketplace allows you to list as many items as you want and display them indefinitely. There are no upgrade plans, subscriptions, or freemium options which are often used in other sales platforms. Every user can add items and start sharing their web3 stores with the clients for free.

That said, we do charge a small fee to maintain our service accessible to all blockchain users and keep the development active. However, as mentioned above, all new users are given a free trial for all web3 marketplace features (both as buyers and sellers).

How safe are Web3 Marketplaces?

Generally, they are much safer than traditional online marketplaces and classified ad websites like Facebook Marketplace, eBay, or Craigslist which often breed fake ads and scam chargebacks.

Unlike these traditional platforms, a Web3 marketplace does not require to enter and store users personal data or billing addresses allowing them to keep identities private. That said, the transactions are carried out on public blockchains where the blockchain verifies them before the transaction is finalized. Once finalized, the record is kept indefinitely in the blockchain and can be traced to the specific wallet to verify.

In addition, Zenland Web3 Marketplace ensures the safety of the transaction between the buyer and the seller through the escrow smart contracts. These contracts serve as special blockchain containers that keep the funds until both parties fulfill their obligation.

Altogether this makes web3 marketplaces safer alternatives to traditional ones changing the way how strangers do business online.

What is Zenland Web3 Marketplace?

It is a P2P marketplace where transactions are done via non-custodial smart contracts. Zenland distinguishes itself in the Web3 landscape by embracing decentralization and blockchain technology to facilitate secure and transparent transactions. Built on the principles of trustless interactions, Zenland employs smart contracts to automate and enforce the terms of agreements between buyers and sellers.

In Zenland, users have direct control over their assets throughout the entire transaction process. Smart contracts, deployed on blockchain networks, act as impartial intermediaries, ensuring that both parties fulfill their obligations before the transaction is completed. This reduces the risk of fraud and eliminates the need for a centralized authority or third-party intermediary.

The marketplace is designed to support various digital assets, including NFTs, in-game items, digital art, and more. Zenland’s commitment to decentralization extends to its use of stablecoins for payments, providing users with a reliable and secure means of value exchange that is not subject to the volatility often associated with traditional cryptocurrencies.

As a Web3 marketplace, Zenland is at the forefront of revolutionizing online commerce, offering users a decentralized and efficient platform for peer-to-peer transactions. How to buy ZENF tokens on Presale?

During Presale rounds the ZENF tokens can be purchased only through the official token page at https://token.zen.land. You can follow the steps below.

The process is shown with Metamask wallet as an example. However, it is similar to buying ZENF tokens with Coinbase and WalletConnect.

Important!
Any other source claiming to sell ZENF tokens is fake and must be reported and blocked to avoid scams.

Step 1. On the official page, there is a token purchase form for early investors who take part in the Presale rounds. The first step is to fill out the network, stablecoin, and the amount. Make sure you have the amount (in both gas fees and selected stablecoins) at the address entered in the form.

It is common that you have the required balance but at another address or in a different currency or network. This will prevent you from buying the tokens and display an error of insufficient funds.

The email address is not required and the field can be left empty.

Step 2. Click the “Connect Metamask” button and select Metamask from the options.

Step 3. Read and agree to purchase terms by ticking off the checkboxes. Then, double-check the information entered, and click “Buy”.

That’s it!
For investors who already bought their tokens in the previous two Presale rounds, we suggest they read another post on How to Claim ZENF Tokens.

How can I claim the ZENF tokens I purchased on Presale?

ZENF tokens can only be purchased through the Zenland official token website at https://token.zen.land

To claim your allocated tokens follow the steps below.

Go to https://token.zen.land and get to the bottom of the page – to the “Claim” form;

Step 2.

Click “Connect” to connect to Metamask.

Step 3.

Select a presale round and click “Claim”. Note that this button remains the “Get Info” button until the vesting period starts.

✓ Round I investors can start claiming on July 1, 2023.
✓ Round II investors can start claiming on August 1, 2023.

I cannot connect Metmask to Zenland. Why?

Metamask wallet connection problems may happen on any dApp. This can happen when another wallet extension is preventing the Metamask wallet to connect (TrustWallet, Coinbase, or Safepal, for example).

On Zenland, this issue can happen while launching the escrow and marketplace dApp (login page), or claiming ZENF Presale tokens (token page).

To fix it:

Step 1. Switch off (or uninstall) other wallets before connecting Metamask;

For it, right-click on the wallet extension, Coinbase for example), choose “Manage extension”, and switch the wallet off.

From the notification appearing on the Metamask connection request, it is clear that the wallet itself is suggesting switching off other wallets in order to exclude connection barriers.

Step 2. Refresh the page and try connecting again.
